An exhibition of photography titled Fi Hob Cinema Mohamed Khan (“For the Love of Mohamed Khan's Cinema”) will be held at Hanager gallery from 2 to 6 August. The exhibition will showcase images from the films of the late director Mohamed Khan, and images of the filming itself. Critics and friends of the director are invited to attend, to encourage discussions with the viewers about Khan's work. Khan passed away in 2016. During his lifetime he was one of Egypt's most prominent directors, and part of a generation of neorealist filmmakers. His films tackled social issues and often featured female central characters.
