Newcastle's Ivorian midfielder Cheick Tiote said on Wednesday he has no intention of leaving the English Premier League club when the transfer window re-opens in January. "I'm not thinking of leaving in January - I'm very happy playing for this club. That's my job, and I need to work hard for the team and the club. I have to focus on my job for Newcastle - that's what I have to do," Cheick Tiote was quoted as saying by Sky sports. "People can say whatever they want to say about me, but I'm a professional footballer, and I play for Newcastle." The 25-year-old midfielder, who joined Newcastle in the summer 2010, produced a string of fine performances with the Magpies and was linked with several clubs such as Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea.
