Zamalek's president Mortada Mansour said on Thursday that Egypt midfielder Abdallah El-Said could join Zamalek this summer after Ahly's decision to sell the player. The 32-year-old was the subject of a transfer crisis three months earlier, when Ahly announced that the player had renewed his contract with the club, before Mansour revealed that El-Said had signed a two-year contract with Zamalek for a record fee of EGP 40 million. In a disciplinary action, Ahly put the player in the club's transfer list and he joined Saudi side Ahly Jeddah for two seasons. "El-Said could join Zamalek after the World Cup," Mansour told an Egyptian radio station on Thursday. "He is now a player at Ahly Jeddah and all options are on the table." Abdallah El-Said, who is a key member of the Pharaohs squad, is preparing for this summer's World Cup, which will start on 14 June.
