Temperatures will continue to drop on Tuesday as Egypt witnesses unstable windy weather with rain expected in Cairo, North Sinai and the northern cities of Upper Egypt, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said on Monday. The cold weather follows a period of warm weather across most governorates last week, with temperatures rising above 37 degrees Celsius. Cairo, North Sinai and the several governorates of Upper Egypt (Beni Suef, Minya and Fayoum) are expected to witness a wet morning on Tuesday, as well as a windy weather. The EMA said the north of Egypt would generally be cloudy. Temperatures across Egypt will remain warm during the daytime and chilly through the night, ranging between 15 and 25 degrees. Tuesday's expected temperatures in degrees Celsius are as follows: Cairo: 27-17 Alexandria: 22-17 Nile Delta: 27-17 North Sinai: 23-15 South Sinai: 29-21 Upper Egypt: 28-13
