Etoile Sportive du Sahel's fullback Hamdi Nagguez completed his move to Zamalek ending speculations surrounding the deal, the Tunisian side announced on Monday. Zamalek had opened talks with the player and he underwent medical tests in Egypt earlier this month after the Cairo giants reached an agreement with Etoile concerning the 25-year-old. After returning to Tunisia, several reports suggested that the deal had collapsed as the player refused to sign for the Cairo giants, but the Tunisian side came on Monday to confirm the deal. The international defender signed a three-and-a-half-year contract that will link him with the club until the summer of 2021. Nagguez has been a key player for Etoile and the Tunisian national team, having earned 15 international caps so far. Zamalek are looking to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window. They lie fourth in the league table with 32 points, 13 behind leaders Ahly.
