Ghana and UAE's Al-Ain striker Asamoah Gyan has insisted that he is in top form to continue his goal scoring career with the Black Stars when they play in the coming 2012 African Cup of Nations. “I'm feeling good right now getting myself in form and keeping my fitness level up,” Gyan, who scored 5 goals five goals for Al-Ain since joining them on loan from Sunderland last September, told KickOffGhana on Tuesday. The 26-year old hitman has a glorious goal scoring record with the Ghanaian national team as he scored in every completion he has appeared within his international career. Gyan scored crucial goals for Ghana in the World Cup in 2006 and 2010 and also the African Nations Cup in 2008 and 2010 and believes his recent outstanding performances with his club will lead him to shine again on the international stage. “It is important not only for my team Al-Ain but it's also preparing me for the AFCON where I am hopeful of scoring goals for my country," the former Udinese and Rennes striker concluded.
