Darb Al-Ahmar to present circus performance On Monday 5 December, Darb Al-Ahmar Arts School will present a circus performance by young trainees in circus arts
The performance features 40 participants from Darb Al-Ahmar (DAAD) Arts School, students whose ages range between 8 and 14-years-old. They work under the supervision of a group of professional circus trainers and artists: Abraham Jacobus van Steijn,David Severins, Andrea Souren, Jasmijn Rubingh, and Adel Al-Bahdly DAAD Arts School is a project initiated by Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy (Culture Resource) in cooperation with Agha Khan Trust DAAD was opened in January 2010 and its mission is to give a creative outlet for children and youth from the district, securing their financialindependence and as such directing their lifestyle choices.
