Wydad de Casablanca suffered a major blow ahead of the second-leg of the Champions League final against Ahly after scans revealed a fracture in the ankle of the Moroccan star Mohamed Ounajem. The star forward will miss the anticipated clash when the Moroccan side hosts Ahly in Casablanca on Saturday. Ounajem, who helped his side earn a precious 1-1 draw in the first-leg earlier this week, had initially said the injury received in Alexandria was mild, before revealing that he would be sidelined for weeks. The international winger is a key player in Wydad's team, providing five assists in 13 Champions League appearances this term. Wydad de Casablanca are looking for their first Champions League title since 1992. They reached the final in the 2011 edition but missed the title after slumping to a 1-0 loss on aggregate to Tunisian side Esperance de Tunis.
