Egypt national team winger Mahmoud "Trezeguet" Hassan has been sent by Belgian side Anderlecht on loan for one season to Turkish side Kasımpasa Spor Kulubu for a reported fee of 600.000 Euros with an option of extending the stay. The 22-year-old Trezeguet, who made his first appearance with Ahly's senior team in 2012, left the Reds in 2016 to join Anderlecht. He also serves as midfielder on Egypt's national team. He joined Royal Excel Mouscron on a season-long loan last season seeking regular football. The winger made a big impact in the Belgian league, scoring seven goals in 28 appearances across different competitions. Kasımpasa Spor Kulubu is one of five Super Lig franchises representing Istanbul, along with Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas and İstanbul Basaksehir. The 2017–18 season will be Kasımpasa's fourteenth consecutive season in the Super Lig and their 96th year in existence. Kasımpasa finished the Turkish Super Lig last season in the 9th place with 43 points.
