David Lynch's Mullholland Drive (2001), a mystery/crime film, will be showing at Magnolia Leaves of Art in Cairo's Zamalek on Monday 13 March. The movie is a mixture of corruption, love and purity, depicting Betty a motivated young actress who is left alone at her aunt's house where she finds a woman left with amnesia due to a car accident and tries to help her. In two hours, the film presents a blend of dreams and nightmares and explores a variety of sensual experiences. The movie won 11 awards including Cannes Best Director Award, BAFTA Award for Best Editing, and Bodil Award for Best American Film, among others.
