Ahly will do without the services of two of their key players due to injuries, defender Rami Rabia and midfielder Amr El-Sulaya, when they take on rivals Zamalek in Egypt's Super Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 10 November. “Rabia won't be fit for Egypt's Super Cup game as he still needs time to recover from injury,” Ahly doctor Khaled Mahmoud told reporters on Thursday. The 22-year-old Rabia suffers from a serious ankle injury he sustained during training last month, and he was reportedly to be out of action for two months. El-Sulaya will also sit out when the Ahly squad face Zamalek, as he is yet to recover from a hamstring tear he suffered during training. The Cairo Giants' medical staff submitted a report to coach Hossam El-Badry saying that El-Sulaya needs more time to recover from the injury and that he will not be fit for the Cairo derby clash. Ahly and Zamalek will face off in the UAE again after the Egyptian Football Association revealed that the domestic Super Cup will be played in the Gulf country on 10 February. Ahly are the record holders of the Super Cup with nine titles. Zamalek have won it only twice.
