Hundreds of the Cairo-based club's hardcore fans, the Ultras White Knights, gathered at the airport at dawn, despite the cold temperature, to celebrate the victory. Players like Hassan Yousry, Ahmed El-Ahmer and Risha received a special welcome because of their outstanding performances during the tournament. Zamalek, which also won the African Cup Winners Cup in April, will meet Etoile Sportive du Sahel again in the African Super Cup. Their archrivals Ahly, ended fifth after beating Algeria's Skikda 27-24 on Saturday.
