Egyptian Premier League best XI: 4th matchday
Ahram Online gives you its selection of the best players from the fourth matchday of the Egyptian Premier League
Published in Ahram Online on 30 - 10 - 2011

Goalkeeper:A last second injury to first choice Ramzi Saleh not only allowed Mohamed El-Arabi to be named among Smouha's starting eleven but helped him deliver one of his finest ever performances. The substitute keeper made some magnificent saves to deny dangerous attempts from Abdoulaye Cisse, Ahmed Fawzi and Mahmoud Abdel-Hakim to help his team claim a precious 1-1 draw against Masry.
Right-back:Masry's fullback Ahmed Fawzi made many overlap runs down the flank posing a major threat to Smouha's defence. He executed a precise cross allowing Cisse to score the opening goal and could have claimed the full points but his shot was denied by in-form keeper El-Arabi.
Left-back:Mohamed Abdel-Shafy was one of Zamalek's major threats against El-Entag El-Harby making dozens of crosses inside the area but none of them were met by the strikers. His performance forced Emad El-Nemr to stay on his toes.
Centre-back:Ahly's defender Mohamed Naguib put Ittihad's striker Mohamed El-Morsy under tight control to totally neutralise Ittihad's biggest threat.
Centre-back:Masry's Eliassou Issiaka produced a solid performance as usual and was never outrun by any of Smouha's strikers, Samuel Affum, Godwin Attram, and Hany El-Egeizy.
Midfielder:Mohamed Ibrahim was inspirational in Maqassa's 1-1 away draw against Gouna as he made an strong effort in midfield and scored the equaliser after a beautiful dribble past three defenders and sliding the ball past keeper Abdel-Monsef. He was denied an earlier goal when he was sent clear on target but was brought down by defender Shawky El-Saied who received a deserved red card.
Midfielder:Hosni Abd-Rabou scored twice to lead Ismaily's fightback against Dakhleya 2-1 (read starman for more details).
Midfielder:Abdallah El-Said scored the opener in Ahly's 2-0 win over Ittihad of Alexandria and was denied another when his free kick crashed off the crossbar. The Reds' new boy produced a dazzling performance, breaking through Ittihad's defence to create most of his team's threat.
Forward:Ittihad El-Shorta striker Khaled Kamar bagged another brace against Arab Contractors. He produced a brilliant solo effort dribbling past five defenders to score with a low shot. The second came from a powerful volley that left keeper Mohamed El-Akabawy rooted to the spot.
Forward:Minusu Buba maintained his scoring form with a fine header against Maqassa to increase his tally to five goals in four matches. He also set up teammate Sherif Ashraf twice but he blasted both chances wide.
Forward:Amr Zaki seems back to his best after scoring an amazing diving header for Zamalek against El-Entag El-Harby. The athletic forward was an imposing figure and seemed eager to increase his tally of goals.
Substitutes:
Ahmed El-Shennawy (Masry), Ahmed Samir (Zamalek), Ashour El-Taqi (Wadi Degla), Mark Mboua (Smouha), Ali Rabo (Ittihad El-Shorta), Mahmoud Abdel-Razek “Shikabala” (Zamalek), Abdoulaye Cisse (Masry).
