Egypt's main stock index is trading down 1.4 per cent at 4,191 points, an hour into Tuesday's four-hour trading session. On Monday, the EGX30 edged up for its fifth consecutive day, completing gains of 7.6 per cent it made since bottoming out on 10 October in the wake of a fatal crackdown on protesters in Cairo. Market turnover currently sits at around LE35.6 million.
