South Africa coach Pitso Mosimane says midfielder Thulani Serero is unlikely to play in Bafana Bafana's African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone

The Ajax midfielder missed Friday's training as he struggles with a groin injury and Mosimane says his availability is “a serious challenge for us, and in my opinion he won't play.” Bafana Bafana's midfield is already without injured captain Steven Pienaar.
South Africa can automatically qualify for next year's tournament as group winner if it beats Sierra Leone and Egypt and Niger draw.
