Egypt's foreign reserves dip a further $1 billion: Central Bank Net reserves fell a monthly 4 per cent to $24.01 billion in September, but tumbled nearly a third since the same period last year
Egypt's net foreign reserves slipped to US$24.008 billion last month from $25.01 billion at the end of August, according to figures published on the central bank's website on Tuesday. Reserves have slipped nearly a third -- some 31 per cent -- since September 2010, when they totalled $35.53bn. Full figures can be found at www.cbe.org.eg
