Tottenham's Adebayor targets Arsenal goal without celebration
Tottenham former international striker Emmanuel Adebayor hopes to score against his former club Arsenal, but this time without celebration

Few hours ahead of the north London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal on Sunday, Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor is determined to find the Gunners' net again.
"When I signed for Tottenham, [Gunners midfielder] Alex Song said: 'Adebayor, are you doing this on purpose because it's Arsenal? I said: 'No, brother, I'm professional and the only choice I have is Tottenham. It's a fantastic club and I'm back to see my family. It's going to be fun to play against you,” the 27-year old hitman who currently plays on loan with the Spurs from Manchester city told the Gaurdian.
"When we watched the Champions League draw last season, we started laughing. Lassana Diarra [Real's former Arsenal midfielder] asked if I was going to score against them again.
"I said that I love Tottenham but the ball is going in the net. Now, hopefully, I'll be scoring for Tottenham,” he added.
Two years ago, the former Monaco forward was heavily criticized by Arsenal fans after his exaggerated celebration, when he scored for the Citizens against their team, but now he promises he will not repeat that fault again.
“If I have the chance to score against Arsenal, trust me, I will score, although I would never again celebrate like I did,” the 2008 African player of the year added.
Adebayor, who announced his retirement from international football on 12 April 2010, played 3 years for Arsenal after joining them in 2006 from French side Monaco. He scored 46 goals in 105 appearances.
