An explosion rocked a major city in northwestern Turkey Tuesday, killing one person and wounding others, local media reported. The private Dogan News agency said the explosion hit near the Grand Mosque of Bursa and killed one person and wounded seven others. It's broadcast footage showed people fleeing the area. The state-run Anadolu Agency and NTV television put the toll at one dead and six injured. Ambulances and fire brigades have been deployed to the scene, Anadolu said. There was no immediate word on the cause of the explosion. Turkey has recently been hit by several attacks by the Islamic State group and Kurdish rebels but also on occasion witnesses explosions related to natural gas malfunctions. The United States on Tuesday issued a new warning to its citizens about "credible indications" of terrorist threats at tourist areas in Turkey. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/204571.aspx
