Ahly didn't deserve victory over Mouloudia, says coach
Ahly coach Manuel Jose announced that his team didn't deserve victory over Algerian side Mouloudia Alger in the CAF Champions League due to the players dip in form

After the 0-0 draw in the Ahly (Egypt) v Mouloudia (Algeria) match in the groups stage of CAF Champions League on Sunday, Ahly's Portuguese coach, Manuel Jose, stated that the draw is the fair for his team as his players didn't do their best in the game.
“Ahly players failed to control the ball during the whole game, but Mouloudia stepped up, took advantage of their speed and performed well during the game” Ahly tactician Jose told the match post press conference.
“There's no time for remorse. Ahly players can reach the quarterfinals but they need to do more,” he added.
“We lost the services of most of the teams effective players like Barakat, Ghaly, Fathi and Junior due to injuries.
“The ref made good calls and controlled the players. He wasn't affected by the fans.”
“We should win the remaining two games against Tunisian side Esperance and Moroccan's Wydad to book a place in the quarterfinals” Jose concluded.
The 65-year-old tactician asked Ahly's supporters to be patient with the team's newly-signed midfielder, Walid Soliman, as it's the first game for him and worked under pressure.
“Walid Soliman is a good player and he has a chance to improve well with the team in domestic or African championships, so I ask Ahly's fans not to judge him by this game.”
The African giants, Ahly, missed out on the chance to move to the top of Group B after settling for a goalless draw at Mouloudia Alger in a dour CAF Champions League encounter on Sunday.
Ahly remained third in Group B of the CAF Champions League with five points, one behind leading duo Moroccan Wydad and Tunisia Esperance.
