Hassan coaching twins on Ismaily's wish list Ismaily's new president Yehia El-Komy promises to bring in coach Hossam Hassan and persuade key players like Hosni Abd Rabou to stay
Egyptian side Ismaily are chasing Zamalek's former coaching staff of twins Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, with the club's finances flourishing following the appointment of a new board. The National Sports Council, under the presidency of Hassan Sakr, agreed Thursday to appoint a new board for Ismaily under the leadership of businessman Yehia El-Komy. “I promise to get coach Hossam Hassan and his twin Ibrahim as football director. They will start their job next Saturday,” El-Komy was quoted as saying on the club's official website. Hassan left the White Castle after failing to win the Egyptian Premier League, finishing second to arch-rivals Ahly despite leading the table for weeks. The new board will try to fulfill the players' financial demands too persuading them to stay at the Yellows especially the trio stars, Ahmed Samir Farag, Abdullah El-Said and Abdullah El-Shahat. “Hosni Abd Rabou is an important player for Ismaily too and I will talk with him to sign a three-year contract,” El-Komy insisted. On the other hand, Cairo giants Zamalek are chasing Abd Rabou sending their deals official, Amr El-Ganiany to the coastal city to negotiate with the talented midfielder. “I won't talk with Zamalek officials until I finish my meeting with Mr. Komy,” the 26-year-old African Cup of Nations champions told Ahram Online.
