Zamalek midfielder Ahmed Tawfik has been ruled out of Saturday's Egyptian Premier League game against El-Entag El-Harbi due to injury. The 24-year-old sustained a thigh injury during Wednesday's training session and won't be able to feature in Zamalek's third league game, Ahram Sports reported on Thursday. Tawfik has been a key player in Zamalek's squad since the arrival of coach Jesualdo Ferreira last February. A natural midfielder, he has been deployed on the right flank in the absence of suspended winger Hazem Emam, leaving a good impression as a defensive-minded full back. With Emam back from suspension, Ferreira won't have to worry about his right-back position. However, the Portuguese tactician will have to do without key defenders Mohamed Koffi and central defence partner Ali Gabr, who are both out with injuries. Ferreira is expected to field Ahmed Dwidar and Islam Gamal as his central defenders. The Whites need to bounce back after dropping two points last week in a 0-0 draw with lowly Aswan, who have just been promoted this season. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/162175.aspx
