Ahly's medical staff confirmed that Reds star Mohamed Abou-Treika for will not play the Cairo derby on Wednesday amid round 27 of the Egyptian Premier League matches. “Treika still needs a rehab program despite participating in the training sessions with the team since last week,” Ahly's medic Walid Abdel-Baky told Al-Ahram gate, adding, “He hasn't fully recovered a calf injury he sustained during the Al-Salmiya friendly match in Kuwait.” The red devils midfielder Mohamed Shawky was confirmed to be ready for the league decider game as he recovered from his knee injury. “It's manager Jose's decision now. Shawky needs to join the training sessions and the Zamalek match will not be easy,” Abdel-Baky said. Ahly who are competing for their seventh successive league trophy are leading the table with 55 points, five ahead of arch-rivals Zamalek who have not won the title since 2004.
