At least 12 Egyptian pilgrims injured in Mecca's Grand Mosque disaster
Two of the injured pilgrims are in critical condition, according to Egypt's health ministry

At least 12 Egyptian pilgrims were injured Friday in a falling crane accident in Mecca's Grand Mosque, the Egyptian health ministry said.
Ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel-Ghaffar told Ahram OnlineTwo of the injured pilgrims are in critical condition.
The health ministry said in an earlier statement that it is following the situation closely with Egypt's Hajj Delegation and Saudi health authorities.
At least 87 people were killed by the falling crane, Saudi Arabia's Civil Defence Authority said. The accident came just weeks before Islam's annual hajj pilgrimage which takes place in Mecca.
