Ahly boss Garrido laments 'shameful result' after 4-1 loss
Ahly boss Juan Garrido admits his side could not have committed more defensive mistakes in a single game as they did against Ittihad

Manager Juan Carlos Garrido admitted that Ahly's 4-1 Egyptian league home defeat by Ittihad was 'shameful'; stressing that his side could not have committed such numerous errors in a single game.
Just a few weeks after their dramatic Confederation Cup triumph, Ahly succumbed to the surprise result at the hands of the mid-tablers, who handed them their second defeat of the league season.
"The result is a shameful one with all due respect to the opponents," ex-Real Betis boss Garrido said in the post-match news conference.
"We are all responsible for the defeat, we were totally out of shape today.
"I don't think we could ever commit such numerous mistakes in a single game; we conceded a soft goal early on.
"There has been no defensive discipline, and after the first goal we continued to make even more errors."
The defeat leaves Ahly, who are chasing a ninth straight league triumph, in fifth place with 21 points, 10 behind leaders Zamalek who played two games more.
