In-form Ghanaian striker John Antwi was on target as Ismaily continued their fine Egyptian Premier League run with a 2-1 victory over promoted Damanhour on Saturday. The 22-year-old, who has been a key Ismaily player since joining in the summer of 2013, also had a hand in his side's opener, which came via an own goal from Abdallah Galal six minutes before the break. Antwi blasted home a penalty on 55 minutes but Damanhour's Mohamed Nassr pulled one back three minutes later. Mostafa Afrotto wasted a late penalty for Damanhour as Ismaily maintained their unbeaten streak in the Premier League. They moved to fifth place in the table with 19 points, seven behind leaders ENPPI who have two games in hand. It's still a remarkable run for Ismaily, who had six points deducted for failing to fulfill their financial obligations towards a former Nigerian striker. Antwi remains the league's top scorer with 11 points from 13 matches, two ahead of Talae El-Geish's Arafa El-Sayed. Elsewhere, Ittihad continued their poor run under coach Hossam Hassan after slumping to a 2-1 defeat by promoted Nasr. Nasr needed a last-gasp goal from Ahmed El-Seidy to claim all three points, leaving Ittihad languishing in the 16th place with 12 points.
