Ghana's John Antwi and Ivorian Koffi Mechac led Ismaily to a 2-0 win over Masry in the 16th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday. Forward Mechac opened the scoring seven minutes before the break to give the Dervishes an early lead. Ghanaian striker Antwi doubled the advantage in the 78th minute to wrap up the win. The Dervishes are second in the Egyptian Premier League Group B with 24 points after 14 games as they still have a game in hand. The Group B rivals Zamalek, who are fifth with 19 points, will be eager to win Sunday's game against Haras El-Hodoud to keep pace with Ismaily and Petrojet as they bid to reach the last four of the domestic tournament and take part in the final mini league that will decide the champion. Ittihad El-Shorta defeated Talae El-Geish 1-0 in the same matchday. They raised their position in the table after placing third with 20 points.
