A sound bomb bursts at Cairo's main train station in Ramsis Square, a spokesperson for the Railway authorities, Nagwa Albert, told Ahram Online. Explosive experts have arrived at the scene to inspect the device. Police have cordonned off the area to search for other potential bombs. Albert said the bomb did not cause any damage to property and there were no injuries. Train operations have returned to normal after a brief interruption. Ramsis station, located in downtown Cairo, is Egypt's main train station connecting the north and the south of the country. The explosion of sound bombs in different transportation hubs around the country has been a recurrent phenomenon in recent months.
