Enraged Ultras storm Zamalek headquarters
Zamalek's fanatic fans, the Ultras White Knights, are furious over a decision to sack head coach Mido earlier this week
Published in Ahram Online on 02 - 08 - 2014

Zamalek Ultras White Knights fans invaded the club's premises on Saturday in anger over chairman Mortada Mansour's recent statements against the hardcore fans.
Mansour, renowned for his ever-controversial media statements, had lashed out against the die-hard supporters, who decided to retaliate by storming the club and chanting against the incumbent president.
The Ultras fans, understood to be enraged with the board's decision to sack former manager Mido and appoint Hossam Hassan as his replacement, are also believed to have set off flares and smashed property inside the club.
Meanwhile, Mansour was quick to contact security officials to send forces to the club as he vowed rioters will not escape punishment.
"All those who stormed the club will be arrested tonight," Mansour told reporters.
"They were all caught on camera as well as the buses that transported them to the club.
"Those are the same who attacked the Smouha bus ahead of the Egypt Cup final.
"They are not fans, they are thugs. Some of them even fired gunshots today and that's a disaster. If this happens again we will also fire back.
"They won't escape punishment."
Just few hours before the Egypt Cup final between Zamalek and Smouha, some fans – believed to be Ultras – attacked the visitors' buses for unknown reasons.
There is no love lost between the fanatic Ultras and Mansour, who had earlier said that he would "shave the heads" of the enraged fans who attempted to wreak havoc inside the club right after Hossam's appointment as coach.
