Four teams from the Egyptian Premier League's two groups will qualify for the final phase where a knock-out game will determine the league's winner. Ahly are competing for a post in the mini-league as they are leading the Group A teams' table with 34 points, sharing the same points with second place Smouha. Zamalek are also searching for a place in the final phase of the Egyptian Premier League as they are third in the Group B teams' table with 32 points, three behind leaders Ittihad El-Shorta.
