Ahly to announce renewal for Ashour, Fathi and El-Said
The management of Cairo giants Ahly says Abdallah El-Said, Ahmed Fathi and Hossam Ashour are sure to remain with the club

Egyptian giants Ahly will announce contract renewals for Abdallah El-Said, Ahmed Fathi and Hossam Ashour after Sunday's clash against Ghazl El-Mahala in the Egyptian Premier League.
“The official announcement of the renewal for El-Said, Fathi and Ashour will be after El-Mahala clash, after finalising all negotiation issues,” football director Alaa Abdel-Sadek told the club's official website Saturday.
“There are no problems about the renewal for the trio. We only preferred to concentrate on the crucial match against El-Mahala as winning it will ensure our qualification for the league's final phase,” he added.
Ahly are close to booking a place in the final mini-league phase as they currently lie second in Group A with 33 points, one behind leaders Smouha.
The domestic competition — 22 teams divided into two groups — just ended the 20th matchday, with a week left to determine which four teams would qualify for the mini-league.
