Zamalek manager Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' announced on Wednesday that he would boycott talking to the media until the end of the current season. "I decided today to stop talking to the media until the end of the current season, not in normal circumstances or after matches," the 31-year-old coach posted on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday. Mido, the focus of a series of recent disputes, has featured on daily local sports television programmes. The former striker, who played for many European sides, including Ajax, Roma, Tottenham and Middlesbrough, is bidding to lead his boyhood club Zamalek to their first title since 2002. They are currently third in Group B with 31 points from 18 matches, three behind leaders Petrojet, who've played 19 games, and two behind runner-ups Ittihad El-Shorta, who've played 18.
