Court of Appeal Judges to investigate Maspiro clashes

CAIRO: Chairman of the Cairo Court of Appeals Abdel Moez Ibrahim today decided to appoint certain judges from the Court to investigate the Maspero clashes in coordination with the Egyptian Public Prosecution.
Chief of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed Forces (SCAF) Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi earlier decided to transfer the investigation of the case to the State Security prosecution.
Around 28 people have been arrested after the incident.
Defendants are facing the following charges: premeditated murder, acts of terror, using violence and damaging public and private property.
