Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Akmal al-Deen Ihsan Oghloo said the OIC is committed to developing cultural diversity in cooperation with the international society. Oghloo said the organization made a historical achievement with its Islamic cooperation initiative through the UN's Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights which is aided by decision 18/16 of May 1995, which rejects intolerance, religious hatred and violence based on religion. The General Secretary's statements came during the fourth Alliance of Civilizations forum held in Doha, Qatar on Sunday, December 11.
