ARISH, Egypt: Hundreds of residents of Arish, the capital of North Sinai Governorate, blocked the international road in Sinai to protest the lack of security. Meanwhile, traffic flow returned to other streets after protesters had blocked them. One of the protesters said his son was kidnapped Sunday on his way to school. He said he called authorities in vain. The General-Secretary of South Sinai governorate, Gaber al-Arabi and Medhat Saleh, governor of the city of Arish tried to meet protesters, but protesters refused and demanded the quick return of security to Sinai.
