CAIRO: Founder of Ghad al-Thawra Party Ayman Nour said results of the parliamentary election's first phase were predictable and unsurprising. "The results were neither forged nor fair," said Nour. Nour also said the most prominent surprises were the increase in al-Nour Salafist Party seats which stressed the necessity of reading well in to this parliament. He told Youm7 he isn't worried about the control of Islamic currents in parliamentary elections and its influence on people calling for a civilian rule. He also said the currents will never be the ruling element in shaping the country, due to the principles of freedom of expression and the existence of women not changing. He said elections were unfair to begin with, starting with the electoral law and then the unequal opportunities in electoral campaigning.
