Egyptian presidential candidate Ayman Nour warned of a new revolution that could break out if Egypt's ruling military council delayed the transfer of their power to an elected civil authority or in case of the failure of the next parliamentary elections due to insecurity. Nour added during a celebration organized by Al-Ghad Party in Alexandria that Al-Ghad Al-Thawra Party and a number of national powers are keen to turn authority to an elected civil authority by forming an elected civil presidential council to reform Egypt's political life. He warned of foreign attempts impeding in the next parliamentary elections and praised the recent Tunisian elections. Nour said his party is committed to the electoral lists running for the next elections representing the Democratic Coalition, although they have not represented different powers. He said he will run for the next presidential election saying, "No one can exclude us from Egypt's political life since we are a main part of Egypt's political scene." Nour described former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's regime as a negative impact in Egypt's history but he praised the role of Kefaya Movement and Al-Ghad Party in struggling to achieve freedom. He said Al-Ghad Party is not a new party and adding they dreamed of creating the party since 2002 to be the lung to breathe the air of freedom. Nour said they currently work to create a new generation for Al-Ghad Party to be involved in Egypt's political life to be able to succeed the founders of the party. He stressed the new generation should adopt the same objectives and principles of his party. He also criticized the judicial rules who issued the decree against those accused of killing Khaled Said. He added Khaled Said will remain a figure of the revolution in Egypt and Tunisia. He demanded to cleanse the judiciary of corruption. Nour criticized the performance of the Public Prosecution during Mubarak's trial, adding it offered weak evidence against Mubarak and his sons.
