13,000 workers organize a sit-in to raise their wages

CAIRO: A total of 13,000 Traffico for Tourism Company workers in transportation sector held an open strike of work yesterday December 5.
They demanded to raise their wages and determine minimum wages starting at 700 EGP, rather than bonuses. They also want to have social insurance.
Workers in all company branches throughout Cairo, Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Luxor and Aswan participated in the open sit-in.
Workers also demanded to reform bonuses and transportations plan for workers and asked for their last season payoff as well.
They demanded the owner of the company to investigate financial violations in the company.
