Railway workers protest in Luxor

Railway lines in Upper Egypt today ground to a halt after railway workers continued a protest in Luxor calling for the removal of Mohamed Samy, the head of the Central South Station.
The railway chief was allegedly using his position to impose harsh fines and deny raises, leading the workers to organize on the rail tracks until he is dismissed. All trains between Aswan and Luxor are affected, as a result.
