JERUSALEM: Israel is looking for new allies and friends to confront the growing Islamic trend in Egypt and the Middle East. The Arab regimes which were overthrown had good ties with Israel, according to senior official in the Israeli government. He added Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered to boost Israeli relations with other countries except Egypt and Turkey. They want to confront the threat of the increasing power of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafis who won in the Egyptian parliamentary elections, according to the Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post. Thus Israel seeks to boost ties with Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria, which are hostile against Turkey. Meanwhile, the relations and ties in the economic field are heading towards the Nile Basin countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Nigeria, and South Sudan, Jerusalem post added. Netanyahu will pay a visit to these countries soon. Arabic here
