ASWAN, Egypt: Revolutionary and political powers decided to suspend the demonstrations organized in al-Shohada Square until the end of the current parliamentary elections. Revolution Youth Union in Aswan media coordinator, Wael Refaat, said they took their decision for a number of internal reasons in Aswan, including the tribal conflict erupted recently in East Aswan. He added the decision was made to pave the way for those candidates who adopt the spirit and agenda of Egypt's revolution to resume their electoral campaigns. He announced they support those candidates during the current parliamentary elections, expressing solidarity with the demands raised in Tahrir Square. Arabic here
