CAIRO: Some polling stations in the fifth electoral district in Cairo for the People's Assembly, which included the polling stations of Ain Shams, Abtal al-Eibor, and Ahmed Shawqi in the neighborhood of Mataria, were closed Monday after party list ballots did not arrive. Ballots for individual candidates were sent in the afternoon, so officials at the polling station called on voters to leave the station and to vote on Tuesday. Voters in at the Ahmed Shawqi polling station filed a lawsuit since they did not cast their vote.
