CAIRO: Commercial International Bank recently acquired pieces from the 22nd Youth Art Salon, which marks the beginning of future collaborations, said Salah el-Meligy, the head of the fine arts sector in the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. “This partnership comes as part of an initiative to increase civil society involvement in bringing about artistic and cultural reinvigoration in Egyptian society,” el-Meligy said. The Bank constantly strives to collect artwork from prominent Egyptian artists with the help of a banking unit dedicate to that purpose.
