CAIRO: Supreme Council of Armed Forces supporters decided to hold million man demonstrations today in Abassiya and Nasr City to reiterate their backing of the military council until the transitional period ends. Fouad Sharaf, one of the protest's organizers, said the protest will begin after Friday prayers and added he expected a huge turnout of military council supporters. The supporters began hanging banners and chanting slogans in support of the military council. The military council supporters are determined to hold their protest despite an Armed Forces statement calling on them to cancel it to preserve Egyptian national unity.
