Thousands of Egyptians headed to Tahrir Square today November 25 to join protestors and participate in the million-man demonstration, entitled Friday of Last Chance. Different political forces agreed on the demands of this demonstration, however they named it different names such as Friday of Martyrs' Right, Friday of Retribution and Friday of Last Chance. The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) boycotted the demonstrations and announced they aim to calm the situation and hold the parliamentary elections on time. The protestors in Tahrir chanted slogans against Egypt's ruling military council. Investigation committees in uniform spread throughout entries into Tahrir Square to investigate the incomers' identities. Mohamed Mahmoud St., which has been the epicenter of clashes in the past few days, is closed off by barbed wires and concrete-block wall. In related news, Deputy Minister of Health for Medical Treatment Affairs, Hesham Sheha, said they sent 65 ambulances to Tahrir to secure the million-man demonstration. The Ministry of Health also prepared hospitals near Tahrir Square with emergencies units and provided doctors with medical teams and medical instruments. They also provided all medical needs to field hospitals in Tahrir Square. On the other side, political coalitions and movements in Tahrir Square announced they will vote in upcoming parliamentary elections. They issued a statement saying the protestors of Tahrir will head the electoral committees on November 28 for voting. They will then return to Tahrir Square to resume their protests until their demands are achieved. Protestors denounced the accusation of holding their protest to delay the parliamentary elections and democratic life in Egypt. They assure they are protesting to apply democratic principals in Egypt.
