Head of the Egyptians Union in Europe Essam Abdel Samad called on chairman of Egypt's ruling military council Hussein Tanatwi for an intermediate interference to stop violence in Egyptian cities. They also stressed on the importance of the army's interference to cease clashes between the Central Security Forces (CSF) and demonstrators. The Union urged to work on stopping the unreasonable brutality from the CSF and to cease military trials for civilians. The union also called upon Tanatwi to form a civil presidential council and a government of national salvation to rule Egypt during the transitional phase. The Union called upon all Egyptian parties and all political forces to stop the violence and to calm down when dealing with current incidents and to maintain security. “We feel responsibility as Egyptians and we wish for this crisis to pass peacefully,” said the head of the Egyptians Union in Europe.
