CAIRO: Egyptian Stocks stopped dealing 31 shares for 30 minutes during Monday sessions after exceeding the loss limit when stocks slashed by 5 percent. The shares that stopped dealings include Egyptian Starch and Glucose, Prime Holding and Investments, Cairo Oils and Soap, Heliopolis Housing, National Real Estate Bank for Development, Hermes, General Company for Ceramic and Porcelain Products, Nasr Co. for Civil Works, Egyptian Real Estate Group, Kafr El Zayat Pesticides and Chemicals and many more. In mid-session, indexes EGX30, EGX20, EGX70 and EGX100 declined by 2.3 percent, 2.8 percent, 4.1 percent and 3.04 percent, respectively. The leading shares went down as well as Talaat Mostafa decreased by 1.8 percent, Hermes by 7.9 percent, SODIC by 5.7 percent, the Citadel Group by 4.3 percent, Orascom Telecom by 2.2 percent, International Commercial Bank by 3.7 percent and Telecom Egypt by 3.7 percent.
