Salafist Presidential Candidate Hazem Salah Abu Ismail arrived in Cairo's Tahrir Square late Sunday night amidst a violent crackdown by security forces. Thousands continue to demonstrate despite attempts by security forces to disperse them. Demonstrators have been met with batons, tear gas, rubber bullets, birdshot, and live ammunition.
