Egyptian presidential candidate Amr Moussa demanded to hold a meeting with different political powers and movements to discuss the current situation and to resolve the crisis in Egypt. Moussa described what happened in Tahrir as a dangerous threat, adding such incidents will affect Egypt's security and stability and threatens the future of democratic change. In a statement, Moussa stressed the need to suspend confrontation with demonstrators and to suspend the violence. He added the citizens have the right to organize their peaceful strikes and demanded all parties to put Egypt's security as a top priority. Moussa cut his tour short with a number of Arab states and returned to Egypt to follow the repercussions of the clashes on Saturday November 19.
