CAIRO: Egyptian security forces today evacuated Tahrir Sqaure from rioters who attacked the police forces and damaged property and vehicles, a security source inside the Ministry of the Interior today said. “The police forces arrested some of the rioters and others managed to escape,” he said. Around 40 police and security officers were injured in today's clashes, the source reported. The Ministry urged those still in the Square to not cause divisions between Egyptians and security forces.
