Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf said that the government ultimately approved in its last meeting expatriate Egyptians' right to vote, and presented the decree to the military council to approve it. Sharaf said that the political corruption law being studied by the military council under the shadow of the Supreme Administrative Court's latest verdict, which allowed former members of the National Democratic Party (NDP) to participate in political life. He also said consultations are ongoing regarding the basic constitutional principles document and he discussed the document with his deputy Prime Minister, Ali al-Selmy, in light of remarks by political powers and parties' .
